Govardhan Pooja at SSD!!
Hindus one of the main festival Govardhan Pooja which occurs in between Yamapanchak was celebrated at Shyama Shyam Dham Thimi . It is believed that , In ancient Period, Lord Shree Krishna raised a mountain named as "Govardhan Parvat" with his smallest finger to save the devotees by a heavy rain fall for seven days long. so this day is celebrated as Govardhan Pooja.
